Podiatrists in York

If this is your first visit to Ferguson and Knowles Podiatrists we kindly ask that you arrive a few minutes earlier for your appointment so we can take your details. A typical appointment lasts up to 30 minutes. Your podiatrist will take time to assess you and your feet. This will involve asking questions about your general health along with any medicines you may be taking (a recent list of your prescription medications would be useful).

If you are planning to use your medical insurance to cover your podiatry treatment we recommend that you check with your health insurance company to ensure your visit is covered and whether a doctors referral letter is needed. We request patients settle their accounts at the end of the consultation where upon a receipt will be provided which you can then forward to your insurance company for reimbursement. We are unable to deal with insurance companies directly.

We accept cash, cheques, debit and credit cards. Payment is required at time of treatment.

Please let us know by phone or e-mail with 24 hours’ notice if you are unable to attend your appointment and we will be happy to make you a new one, otherwise a fee may apply.
